FAQ
Yes, our ON'connectTM switch technology has been designed to guarantee installation on all types of water networks, whatever the material, diameter or location (inside a building or outside in a manhole).
The network or networks to be secured depend specifically on the size of the site/building and the distribution of the various water supply points within it.
First and foremost, our experts will offer to carry out an audit/technical survey directly on the site you are planning to equip, in order to understand the current structure of your network, assess the risk of leaks, carry out tests and propose different securing options.
It should be noted that the choice of security system made at the outset can be supplemented in a second phase after a few months or years' experience (e.g. securing the general network in year 1 and securing certain secondary networks in year 2 on a site particularly exposed to leaks).
ON'connect technologyTM TECHNOLOGY switch technology is easy to install on site. All we have to do is perform a surgical intervention on the network to be equipped. For existing sites, no electrical connection work is required, as the product is 100% autonomous and communicates over the air (LoRa, Wize). Installation is therefore quick and easy (operational on the day of installation).
Installation time depends on the size of your site, the number of devices to be installed, the number and size of networks to be equipped, and network accessibility. As a general rule, you should allow between 2 and 3 hours. A preliminary on-site audit enables us to give you a precise timeframe for installation. Commissioning is carried out on the same day as the installation.
Absolutely. We suggest that our customers use our own efficient supervision and control portal, but this is not an obligation. As our IS operates in SaaS mode, if you already have a multi-fluid portal, we can provide our API free of charge to your current multi-fluid supplier, enabling you to transfer your water consumption and leak alerts quickly and easily to your portal.
Absolutely. ON'connectTM switch technology enables data to be transmitted by wire or LoRa directly to your PLC, via a transfer module we supply, which plugs directly into one of your BMS/CGT ports.
